Electric Homies reading at Brooklyn Sci-Fi Film Fest!

On the 19th evening of October 2024 I had the pleasure of taking part in Roberto Fatal’s latest screenplay Electric Homies as part of the Brooklyn Sci-Fi Film Festival. It was so nice to be surrounded by family of all types. Former cast members, former classmates, fellow queers and Mexican Americans from all walks of life. This is why I love doing what I do. It has been so fulfilling to be back in New York and in this “small world” of fellow artists.

I am humbled an honored to be part a part of the Electric Homies family, I am in awe of my fellow cast-mates’ performances and the creative and loving story that Roberto crafted. This barrio story takes place in a not-so-distant future tells of the effects technology has on a community that has fallen behind and is being forgotten. I look forward to the day I get to see this film on screen and wish you the best, Roberto, in all your projects.
