It all started with a fantasy in the height of the pandemic. An app made me nostalgic for the classic whodunit game, and an opportunity allowed me to bring this joy to many more. Directing Clue: On Stage by Sandy Rustin was a powerful moment for me in my career. I was Assistant Professor of Instruction at UTEP, my students and some who were not my students, all came together to act, design or assistant direct the show and we created some extraordinary relationships and excitement for the audience. I hope to direct more shows like this, and get to work with any of the lovely artists that brought Clue to life.
